THE FALL OF THE GEEIA WEBSITE

Postby Hansen, Len » May 12th, 2015, 5:46 am

I,ve been watching this site closely and there has not been much action or activity on it over the past few years, and I can't figure out why. It looks like the "GEEIA" website site is about to go down the toilet.....

Sad to say, for a long time I felt like I was the only one left doing any posting.I would see new people join and never post anything. Were they in the same GEEIA I was in?My experience was wonderful and exciting and so were the people I was in with, I guess they have all passed or something.I rarely check the site anymore.

I still check it every day, but as you know it's been really quiet. I wish I had some stories to tell, but compared to everyone else, it appears I pretty much did nothing for two years.

Howdy, I'm Robert H Renteria, in San Antonio Tx. I was assigned to the 2870th Geeia Sq at Hill AFB from 1964-1966.
Worked in Electronics section, installing and removing radar sites all over western states plus Hawaii and Johnston Island.
Its been MANY years but have decided lately that its time to try and see who is still around and what they are up to.
Would like to hear from whoever was there around that time and see if we can hash over old times, maybe meet at a reunion.
