b4 bags

Postby Weekley, Tommy » December 3rd, 2014, 11:23 am

Hey men, I am sure that all of you that spent their time going tdy remember the B-4 bags that we carried our clothes and other gear in.I was in a surplus store a while back and came across one, but it was in ratty shape.Curious, I went online and found a company called military luggage that sells new ones(in camoflage) for around 70 bucks.Sure brought back another flood of memories. As a young pole climber, when I traveled with a full B-4 bag,my pole climbing gear, and a toolbox that weighed about 60 pounds, it made a good load for my skinny 140 pound ass. Those bags could carry a heap of stuff..... Hey Tommy, I've been AWOL for a awhile. Yes, I remember those bags to bad I lost mine somewhere along the way. Those Army surplus stores are hard to find when I got out in '68 there were plenty of them around back in the good ole days. Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New year!!!!
